Transportation Police reported that a 36-year-old driver was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle after their car was found on the Green Line tracks.
The vehicle was blocking service to and from Boston College, leading to 15-minute delays and requiring a thorough inspection of the tracks to ensure safety.
Incidents of personal vehicles ending up on the street-level Green Line tracks are not uncommon, causing considerable issues for transit services and passengers.
Previous weeks had seen similar incidents, including a rideshare driver who followed his GPS onto the tracks and a woman accused of driving drunk on them.
