On Sunday evening around 6:05 p.m., a pedestrian was struck by a car at 3615 Washington St. in Jamaica Plain. The driver remained on the scene while the badly injured pedestrian was taken to a local hospital by Boston EMS. Due to the nature of the injuries, homicide detectives and the Fatal Accident Investigation Team have taken over the investigation. As of Monday evening, there have been no arrests made, and inquiries into the incident are still active.
