Bruins' McAvoy still in hospital, status uncertain
Briefly

Charlie McAvoy, a top defenseman for Team USA and the Boston Bruins, is hospitalized with a shoulder infection and a significant AC joint injury, causing uncertainty about his NHL season participation. After undergoing X-rays, MRIs, and bloodwork, he was diagnosed as having an infection in his right shoulder, as well as a significant injury to his AC joint.
