Jordan Dillard, only 23 years old, was fatally shot multiple times in Carroll Gardens, marking the first homicide reported by the 76th Precinct this year.
Police are continuing their investigation into the shooting in which Dillard was fatally wounded, having responded to multiple 911 calls about gunshots fired.
Despite the tragic incident, the 76th Precinct of the NYPD had not reported any murders in 2024 until this first homicide case of 2025.
