Good Days brings seasonal new American dining and retro vibes to Williamsburg * Brooklyn Paper
""We wanted to showcase our love, passion and deep appreciation for hospitality in its truest form," Burgos and Norton said in a statement. "The restaurant is a representation of our progression through this industry as women who embraced opportunities and experiences along the way. In its simplest form, it's a love letter to our community, hospitality and each other.""
"Armed with the goal to 'bring back the community element to dining out,' Good Days' menu is designed to be social and shareable. Small plates, raw bar offerings and main dishes to encourage mix-and-matching grace the menu. Diners will find choices like Sobrasada Bocadillo alongside fontina croquettes with chili bomba. For those craving lighter fare, raw bar options include Hamachi Crudo with brown butter yuzu vinaigrette and a Shrimp Cocktail dressed up with burnt onion dijonnaise."
Good Days opened Oct. 1 in Williamsburg, presenting a seasonal New American menu that emphasizes local sourcing, bold flavors and community. Stephany Burgos and Amanda Norton bring over 30 years of combined restaurant experience and launched Good Days as their first joint venture. The menu prioritizes social, shareable dining with small plates, raw bar items and mix-and-match mains. Sample offerings include Sobrasada Bocadillo, fontina croquettes with chili bomba, Hamachi Crudo with brown butter yuzu vinaigrette and a Shrimp Cocktail with burnt onion dijonnaise. Larger plates feature Bottarga Linguini, Rosa Casarecce with 'nduja, pan-seared duck and Swordfish Milanesa. The burger blends chuck, brisket and short rib with housemade remoulade, grilled onions and house-made dill pickles on a sesame brioche bun. Bread service is offered daily.
