Man randomly stabbed by stranger in NYC while walking to his car

A man was viciously stabbed in an unprovoked attack on the Upper West Side while walking to his car. The unidentified assailant knifed him in his right side without warning before fleeing the scene.
Hours later, another stranger stabbed a man in the neck on a Brooklyn train during a seat dispute. The victim was in stable condition after the attack and the suspect had escaped.
