Six months later, the police admitted their mistake, as Camden was simply returning from football practice when he learned of the accusations. The NYPD had previously shared his image as a prime suspect, which they later deleted, causing significant distress to the young man.
I was on the way home from practice when a friend of mine sent me a screenshot of the CrimeStoppers image, and I seen it, and everything just went blank.
This was an intentional act by one person towards a group of people,
NYPD pointed the finger at Camden Lee, but later acknowledged they had the wrong person after nearly six months of investigation.
