District Attorney Gonzalez and Commissioner Caban are offering bank cards up to $500 for operable guns/assault rifles, $200 for ghost guns, and $75 for rifles/shotguns at the buyback event.
Participants can get up to $500 for each operable gun or assault rifle turned in, with a limit of three, as well as additional amounts for other types of firearms.
Guns must be unloaded, packaged appropriately, and transported safely; bank cards will be issued after the screening process by officers on-site at the event venue.
Active or retired law enforcement officers and licensed gun dealers are not eligible to participate in the buyback event.
