An emotionally disturbed person kept NYPD Officers and FDNY Firefighters at bay in Ocean Hill on Thursday afternoon by barricading himself inside the home before setting it on fire.
Upon their arrival, officers found that a man had barricaded himself in the basement of the four-story, multi-unit dwelling. After a brief standoff with Precinct Cops, Emergency Services Unit Officers and Hostage Negotiators, the man lit the residence on fire.
