An ATV careened into a canal Thursday afternoon after losing control, resulting in two women being thrown into the water. Emergency responders were able to pull them out, but one of the women succumbed to her injuries after being transported to West Kendall Baptist Hospital.
The incident occurred around 1 p.m. in the vicinity of Southwest 112th Street and 157th Avenue, as Miami-Dade police reported the tragic accident involving the unidentified women.
