Zamiqua Miller, 33, died in Brooklyn Central Booking after police called for medical assistance. She was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. Miller was awaiting a court appearance when she became unconscious and was pronounced dead at the scene. The NYPD's Force Investigation Division is investigating her death. Miller had two open criminal cases in Queens, including charges of burglary and petit larceny. She is the fourth person to die in city police or corrections custody this year.
