Nearly 4,000 people have been evacuated from their homes due to the Boyles Fire in Lake County, which has involved around 30 structures and has burned approximately 75 acres, making only 10 percent containment as of late Sunday evening.
The fire initially began as a vegetation fire in Clearlake near Dam Road and Boyles Avenue, which was reported at 2:45 p.m. Sunday, indicating significant threat to nearby structures.
