The baby's father, Jake Haro, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, assault causing bodily harm to a child, and filing a false report. No new information has emerged about the whereabouts of the baby's body. Emmanuel was reported missing on Aug. 14 after Rebecca said she was attacked and the baby kidnapped in a Big 5 parking lot in Yucaipa. Authorities found inconsistencies in the parents' story, searched the Cabazon home multiple times, and arrested both parents. Rebecca Haro has a preliminary hearing set for Nov. 3 and a felony settlement conference in January.
