Under the leadership of EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin, crews cleaned hazardous waste from thousands of properties in less than 30 days, a record pace never seen before.
EPA teams assessed more than 13,000 properties, removed hazardous materials from over 9,000 and deferred over 4,000 properties to Phase 2 for safety reasons.
