
"Another suspect has been arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing last summer in San Jose, police said Friday. The suspect, identified by authorities as a 17-year-old San Jose boy, was arrested on suspicion of murder Tuesday in Santa Clara, San Jose police Officer Tanya Hernandez said in a news release. He was booked into Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall."
"Officers were called at 12:51 a.m. on July 20, 2025, for a report of a stabbing on Second Street near San Fernando Street. They arrived to find a man suffering from at least one stab wound. The man was taken to an area hospital, where he died from his injuries. The medical examiner-coroner's office identified him as Raymond Manuel Orozco, 22, of Hayward. The death marked the city's 15th homicide of 2025."

The victim, Raymond Manuel Orozco, 22, of Hayward, died at a hospital. The death was the city's 15th homicide of 2025. Detectives identified Mercedes Bette Rosales, 20, and Micaela Van, 18, as suspects. Rosales was arrested Aug. 5 on suspicion of murder and Van on suspicion of being an accessory; both are held without bail at Elmwood Correctional Facility.
