"Officers say they were called to a house on Bathurst Street and Major Mackenzie Drive around 3:40 a.m. on Wednesday with reports of a shooting. Nobody was injured, but the same house was struck earlier this month and police believe the shootings are targeted. A white or silver SUV was seen in the area at the time of the shooting, according to police."
"In addition to this house, several other houses have also been shot at in the neighbourhood recently, sparking concern from local leaders. "Enough is enough," Mayor Steven Del Duca told reporters on Wednesday. "We need the system fixed and we need the federal government to step up urgently and get it done and get it done right." Del Duca said that new CCTV cameras will be installed in various places throughout Vaughan, which he says will help keep residents safe."
