The U.S. Justice Department has launched a formal inquiry into the California Association of Realtors' contracts and forms after complaints of anti-consumer provisions.
CAR has been revising forms to comply with a national settlement that would ban agents from posting offers to pay commissions in MLS. Delays occurred after the DoJ inquiry.
