Attorney General Pam Bondi stressed the seriousness of such domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, assuring the public of swift justice and hefty penalties, including a potential 20-year prison sentence for Frederick.
"Let this be a warning. You can run, but you cannot hide. Justice is coming," warned Attorney General Pam Bondi in reference to the suspect.
"I've made it clear that if you take part in the wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, we will find you, arrest you and put you behind bars," Bondi stated.
Cooper Jo Fredrick was arrested in Plano, Texas, after allegedly firebombing a Tesla dealership, narrowly missing several parked vehicles and endangering lives.
Frederick faces not only federal charges but also local ones like second-degree arson and possession of incendiary devices for his actions.
