CCTV footage from a café in Buckhurst Hill captured two cars narrowly avoiding patrons outside as one vehicle went airborne, nearly hitting outdoor diners.
Serhat Ayaz, manager of Simple Food and Coffee, described the moment, stating, 'I was just working and serving a customer... I'm just glad that everyone's okay.'
The incident took place on a busy Monday afternoon with several witnesses, one of whom clutched her face in shock as the crash occurred.
Essex Police arrived shortly after the crash at 1:25 PM and confirmed no injuries, despite damage to multiple vehicles and a parking machine.
