Tesla upgrades its ridiculous Cybertruck wiper after owners report issue
Briefly

Tesla is enhancing the Cybertruck's unique windshield wiper in response to feedback from owners regarding streaking. The issue, particularly pronounced in winter months, prompted several complaints to Tesla, leading to a new feature designed by the Cybertruck program engineer, Wes Morrill. The update will allow the windshield wiper to dispense more fluid by holding the wash button through two cycles, improving its efficacy against stubborn debris. This update, version 2025.2.8, is rolling out to first wave owners and will be available to more users soon.
If you hold the wash button through 2 cycles the wiper will now continuously soak your windshield, effectively doubling the amount of fluid dispensed. This helps with the stubborn road salt.
This relatively minor fix to a big issue will roll out with software version 2025.2.8, and has already made its way to a first wave of Cybertruck owners.
