Pitcher Vinny Nittoli signed a minor league deal with the Orioles, reporting to Triple-A Norfolk after being designated for assignment by the Cubs and Athletics in recent days.
Despite his many recent transactions and brief major league stints, Nittoli has shown solid performance, including a 2.70 earned run average in 23 1/3 innings at Triple-A this season.
