Ky Bush, a promising pitching prospect for the Chicago White Sox, is set to undergo Tommy John surgery, leading to his absence for the entire 2025 season. Previously drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in 2021, Bush was traded to the White Sox in a deal for Lucas Giolito. Despite some struggles in the majors, his minor league performance was strong, posting a 2.12 ERA in Double-A. Bush represented the AL in the Futures Game and was ranked the 11th prospect in the White Sox organization by MLB Pipeline in 2024.
