The Baltimore Orioles are finalizing a deal to acquire outfielder Eloy Jimenez from the Chicago White Sox. Jiménez, 27, has had injury issues and is underperforming, hitting .240 with 5 home runs and 18 RBIs this season.
In return, the White Sox will receive reliever Trey McGough, who has a 2.08 ERA in Triple-A this season. McGough, 26, was selected by the Orioles in the Rule 5 Draft in 2023 after being drafted by the Pirates in 2019.
