David's Bridal has shifted its production away from China in anticipation of impending tariffs announced by the Trump administration. CEO Kelly Cook revealed that the company has decreased its reliance on Chinese production from over 50% to 30% in recent months, leveraging its global network of 36 production facilities in countries such as Sri Lanka and Vietnam. Despite the turbulent trade landscape, Cook noted that they have not raised prices for customers, underscoring their commitment to competitive pricing in the bridal industry, which heavily depends on Chinese manufacturing.

Cook stated, "We want to do everything in our power not to pass anything on to the customer," stressing their commitment to maintaining prices despite tariffs.
Independent bridal shops reported that around 90% of their gowns were made in China, making them vulnerable to the price increases stemming from tariffs.
As of last week, Cook confirmed that David's Bridal had not raised prices resulting from tariffs, showcasing their effort to manage costs effectively.
