The 38a gallery, set to launch in Charlotte on November 15, 2024, aims to amplify Black, Brown, and minority voices through the vibrant exhibit "Queens & Kings: A Tale of Two Cities."
In partnership with adidas, the launch also features the limited-edition 38a x adidas Superstar "Queens & Kings" sneakers, blending streetwear with artistry to celebrate the exhibit's themes.
Curated by Evelyn Flores and Sean Beauford, the "Queens & Kings" exhibit tells the story of Charlotte and Pittsburgh through the works of notable photographers, emphasizing community identity.
The exhibit is designed as an interactive cultural experience, incorporating workshops and discussions, allowing attendees to engage with the artists and their unique perspectives on Black and Brown communities.
