Galería de Arte Mexicano, Mexico City's first commercial art gallery, marks its 90th anniversary with a group exhibition and mariachi celebration. Founded in 1935 by Carolina Amor, the gallery was led by her sister Inés Amor who played a crucial role in promoting Modern Mexican art internationally. Adapting to the dynamic art scene, it features historic figures alongside contemporary artists. Over generations, ownership has transitioned within the family, ensuring a commitment to Mexican art and solidifying its place in art history through more than 2,500 exhibitions globally.
