Marie Olsson Nylander, a self-taught interior decorator, embraces a boho wild style in her latest home in Helsingborg, Sweden. Living with her family, she highlights the apartment's charm with vintage design and soothing colors. Marie was drawn to the home’s windows and space. After a year of searching, she was fortunate to find the flat when it became available. The refurbishment involved both painted and untouched walls, combining personal artistry with practical design choices to create an inviting atmosphere.
The whole feeling that this place gave back immediately drew me in. I think this flat is my destiny.
Marie defines her style as boho wild, characterized by soft colors, vintage design, and a sense of joyful chaos.
I sent him an email to see if there was anything available. We were lucky, because just the day before this flat had become vacant.
Some of the walls were painted by my artist friend Mirja Ilkka, while others were left untouched to serve as a great background for photos.
