The Visitor Center for the Đalovića Cave creatively integrates into its landscape, taking cues from the nearby Bistrica River and mountains. Designed as a split structure, it enhances visitor experience by providing direct visual and physical access to the river. The facility includes a diverse range of functions, such as a restaurant, exhibition space, and information desk, organized into two zones that encourage movement toward the cave's cable car station. The architecture promotes openness, aiming to create a gathering space while exposing guests to the natural beauty of the area.
The Visitor Center is designed to foster engagement with the surrounding landscape, emphasizing visual and physical connections with the Bistrica River through a playful architectural form.
By splitting the building into two functions, we create a seamless transition for visitors from the parking area to viewing the cave, enhancing their overall experience.
The facility provides a variety of functions from dining to exhibitions, ensuring that every visitor has a meaningful encounter with the Đalovića Cave's surroundings.
The architectural strategy surrounding the Visitor Center prioritizes openness and interaction with nature, reflecting the natural beauty of the Đalovića Cave and its environment.
