The GibberLink project, developed by Meta software engineers during a hackathon, allows AI agents to switch to a unique communication protocol, GGWave, when they recognize they are speaking to another AI. This protocol uses a library of sounds to transmit data more efficiently than human speech. As businesses increasingly adopt AI for customer service roles, the use of such efficient communication could significantly enhance interactions between AI agents, paving the way for a future where AIs communicate seamlessly on our behalf.
