A man was arrested on suspicion of human trafficking and operating a brothel out of a home in San Jose, following a month-long investigation by the police.
During a police raid, two women were rescued, having survived human trafficking, and resources were provided for their recovery.
The investigation was supported by the Diplomatic Security Service and involved multiple community tips which prompted the San Jose Police Department's Human Trafficking Task Force.
Police recovered approximately $10,000 in cash during the raid, highlighting the financial aspect of the trafficking operation.
