Slow, delayed commute for BART riders after computer issues
Briefly

BART commuters faced significant disruptions Thursday morning as the transit system experienced a brief shutdown on all lines to San Francisco Airport, with ongoing service limitations.
At approximately 9 a.m., BART reported limited service on the red line between Richmond and Colma, following an earlier total shutdown due to a computer issue.
BART officials confirmed a computer issue affected service between Daly City and Millbrae, resulting in the temporary shutdown from 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 a.m., with delays persisting.
During the disruptions, trains operated only to the Millbrae station, with shuttle services provided for travelers needing to reach San Francisco Airport and San Bruno.
