Eighteen students at Pomona College were arrested for protesting the removal of pro-Palestinian art on campus, criticizing the heavy police response to the peaceful demonstration.
The student government at Pomona College voted in favor of divesting all school investments from Israeli apartheid, with more than 75% of student voters supporting this initiative.
In response to the protest, Pomona College's president warned of immediate suspension for students involved, and individuals not part of The Claremont Colleges community were banned from the campus.
