"Storm Bram will bring very strong to gale force southerly winds with the strongest winds along the coast. All counties will see very strong and gusty winds coming into place at 3am tonight until 9pm tomorrow. A Status Orange Wind warning will be in place for counties Cork, Kerry, Waterford and Wexford from 7am tomorrow until 3pm. While another Status Orange Wind Warning will be in place for counties Clare, Limerick, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo from 10am to 6pm."

Other impacts could include difficult travel conditions, wave overtopping, debris, displaced loose objects and impacted outdoor events. Met Éireann has said they are "closely monitoring a developing Atlantic system". Status Orange wind warnings apply to Cork, Kerry, Waterford and Wexford (7am–3pm) and to Clare, Limerick, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo (10am–6pm). A Status Yellow rain warning covers Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Cork, Kerry, Tipperary and Waterford (9pm–9am). Coastal areas face increased flood risk from high spring tides. Impacts include difficult travel, wave overtopping, debris, displaced objects and affected outdoor events.
