Sunak hit with worse polling since his time in office

Ipsos polling shows that 75% do not think that Sunak will win the election and only 14% believe that the Prime Minister will stay in Downing Street, this is the worst he has faced to date.

According to Ipsos a massive 79% of Conservative voters do not believe Sunak can win the general election.

Some 57% of people have said Sunak has not done a good job and 62% have said the government is running the country badly.

Gideon Skinner, head of political research at Ipsos, said, "After a tough set of results at last week's local elections, the public do not set much store for Rishi Sunak's chances at the next general election."
