Juan Carlos "JC" Mendez has been appointed as Executive Chef at Naples Grande Beach Resort, managing all culinary aspects of various dining establishments. With a rich background in diverse cuisines—ranging from Mexican to Italian—Mendez intends to enhance the resort's offerings by introducing innovative, culturally-inspired dishes and implementing a farm-to-table approach with a garden on-site. His diverse experience includes notable positions in Minnesota and collaborations with renowned chefs, showcasing his commitment to quality and creativity in dining.
I am honored to be leading the extraordinary culinary team at Naples Grande Beach Resort, where I have been able to meet and serve guests from all over the world.
Mendez will oversee all of Naples Grande Beach Resort's culinary offerings, including The Catch of the Pelican, Mantra Lounge, Rhode's End, Aura Restaurant, Gulfcoast Oasis Pool Bar, Spressi Marketplace, and The Sunset Veranda.
