The opening of Stack & Sizzle restaurant has been delayed as the owner, Mohammad Sagar, prioritizes quality by sourcing local produce. Originally scheduled for July 6 or 7, the new opening date is now July 12 for dine-in and takeout, with deliveries starting on July 15. Sagar aims to use fresh chicken, beef, and other local products, but faced disruptions in supplies. He expresses excitement and nervousness about the launch, highlighting the importance of not cutting corners to ensure a successful opening.
We want to source our ingredients fresh and good quality. We want fresh chicken, fresh beef and other produce from local sources and some of these supplies have been disrupted and delayed.
I don't want to cut corners. Now we're hoping to open on July 12 for customers to eat-in and for takeaways and then for deliveries on the 15th.
We're ready apart from this. I know the 'rush' that people in Romford are so often in. We don't want to get meat and vegetables from unknown sources.
I'm very excited but very nervous to open, this is my brand and I want everything to work well. Hopefully it will go smoothly.
