Reopening after five years of intense reconstruction, Notre-Dame Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has been restored to its former glory thanks to the dedication of 2,000 workers.
President Emmanuel Macron acknowledged the collective effort in restoring Notre-Dame saying, 'The inferno of Notre-Dame was a wound for the nation, and you were its remedy,' while honoring the workers' dedication.
