Zero Day Initiative - Pwn2Own Berlin 2025: Day One Results
Briefly

In a recent hacking competition, Chen Le Qi from STARLabs SG successfully exploited a Use After Free (UAF) and an integer overflow to achieve SYSTEM access on Windows 11, winning a $30,000 prize and 3 Master of Pwn points. Meanwhile, the Wiz Research team was unable to complete their exploit for NVIDIA's Triton Inference during the competition. On the other hand, Hyunwoo Kim and Wongi Lee of Theori managed to escalate privileges to root on Red Hat Linux using an info leak and UAF, despite one of their exploits being an older N-day bug, earning them $15,000 and 1.5 Master of Pwn points.
