Jackson Schwartz on the Forest, Clouds, Snowy Branches + More
Briefly

Jackson Schwartz became captivated by glassblowing as a teenager, leading him to co-found Hennepin Made in Minneapolis with Joe Limpert in 2011. The studio produces an array of handcrafted glass lighting fixtures, merging artistic design with practical functionality. Schwartz emphasizes the creative reimagining of discarded materials, believing they contain untapped potential. The collaborative environment within Hennepin Made fosters innovation and creativity, while Schwartz's leadership focuses on aligning team strengths with conceptual development. This iterative, hands-on approach continues to evolve as he explores new art forms within the manufacturing process.
I get the discards, the leftovers, the rejects, and look at them in a different way to see what they can speak to. That is where the potential is.
My role is twofold. First, I make sure that we have the right team members doing what they are truly unique at. The other part is to ideate different concepts.
