UK cybersecurity leaders plan to focus on cloud-native application protection platforms (CNAPP) in 2025, according to a Westcon-Comstor survey. The research, involving 500 chief information security officers from large organizations in various countries, revealed that 84% of UK participants plan to invest in CNAPP and cloud technologies within the next year, surpassing the global average. Additionally, AI security posture management, cloud security posture management, and software composition analysis were highlighted as key investment areas, while engagement with channel partners is seen as crucial for maximizing returns on security investments.
As organizations look to the channel for growth opportunities, the study found the majority of surveyed businesses are currently engaged with their channel partners (95%) when procuring and deploying security solutions.
The planned investment in CNAPP forms part of a wider appetite for cloud security investment this year, with large organizations looking to channel partners to maximize return on investment.
