expressive concrete structure floods nnarquitectos' casa nnCLP with striped shadows
Briefly

Casa nnCLP, designed by the Argentina-based studio nnarquitectos, is a family home created with a primary focus on social spaces, encouraging interaction among its inhabitants. This residence, positioned strategically on a flat lot in Córdoba, optimizes natural light through its North-facing rear while offering visual privacy with its austere street-facing facade. Visitors are guided through a carefully designed entrance that balances exposure and seclusion. The central social area on the ground floor serves as a hub for family activity, seamlessly connecting with outdoor spaces, promoting an atmosphere of intimacy and openness.
The project centers on social interaction, featuring open and fluid spaces that prioritize togetherness for a family with three children.
Casa nnCLP's design includes a duality of privacy and openness, being visually austere from the street while promoting seamless indoor-outdoor connections.
The entrance unfolds gradually, featuring walls that conceal a light courtyard and garage, creating an inviting yet private transition into the home.
The extensive social area is designed to enhance family bonding while ensuring ample natural light and cross-ventilation.
