London Fire Brigade reported that a burst water main caused significant flooding near King's Cross Station, resulting in the evacuation of a nearby hotel and extensive emergency response efforts.
About 60 firefighters from eight fire stations were deployed to handle the situation on Pentonville Road, covering an area of approximately 250 square meters.
Pentonville Road has been closed to traffic, affecting numerous bus routes, with diversions implemented as emergency services continue to manage the flooding situation.
Thames Water confirmed their engineers are actively working at the site of the burst pipe and are taking measures to restore normal service for affected customers.
