Eight injured as bus crashes into tree on Old Kent Road in south London

"We were called at 10.15am on 24 February to reports of a road traffic collision in Old Kent Road, SE15. We sent three ambulance crews, two paramedics in fast response cars and an incident response officer to the scene. The first paramedic arrived in around seven minutes. We treated eight patients at the scene and took them to hospital."

"Video footage shows the smashed front of the bus. Both the windscreen and the bonnet appear to have been severely damaged in the incident. The rear doors are seen open with shattered glass scattered across the floor."
