The hospital trust has implemented enhanced security measures following the incident where a woman injected a patient with an unknown substance while posing as a doctor.
Kreuena Zdrafkova, 20, who lacked any medical training, pleaded guilty to common assault for injecting a patient in police custody with a mystery liquid.
Judge Fiona Barrie noted that despite Zdrafkova's apparent desire to be a doctor, it did not mitigate her actions which were reckless and unlawful.
Zdrafkova's defense claimed her actions were compassionate, highlighting moments where she appeared concerned for the patient's well-being, but the court focused on the seriousness of her offense.
