Holmes is spread across four beautifully restored Georgian townhouses, and you can feel the heritage in every corner. The design was a standout - eclectic but elegant, filled with vintage curiosities and warm, intelligent details that quietly nod to the hotel's namesake, Sherlock Holmes.
One of the highlights of our stay was dinner at Kitchen at Holmes, the hotel's in-house restaurant. The atmosphere was relaxed but lively, with an open kitchen that added just the right amount of theatre to the evening.
The service was attentive without being intrusive, and we ended up staying longer than we planned, soaking in the buzz from the terrace and the gentle hum of Marylebone just beyond.
What really set Holmes apart was the sense of care throughout our stay. The staff were warm, personable, and made us feel genuinely welcome.
