RideLondon will not take place in 2025 to allow for a strategic review and redesign of the event, aiming to engage more riders of all ages.
Hugh Brasher stated, 'We feel the time is right to take a pause this year and bring all stakeholders together to work on a new concept for the world’s greatest festival of cycling.'
Since its inception in 2013, RideLondon has raised more than £85 million for charity and inspired over 300,000 people to cycle more often.
The cancellation in 2025 allows for a full strategic review of RideLondon, originally an Olympic legacy event, to inspire even more cycling participation.
