Man admits murder of Sarah Mayhew in Croydon after dismembering her body

Steven Sansom, 45, admitted murdering Sarah Mayhew and perverting the course of justice by dismembering her body and disposing of it in various locations.
Body parts belonging to Sarah Mayhew were found in Rowdown Fields, New Addington, Croydon, on April 2, leading to the police investigation.
Gemma Watts, 49, also faces charges of murder and perverting the course of justice and was not asked to enter pleas during the court proceedings.
The Old Bailey heard that Steven Sansom was previously convicted in 1999 for the murder of a cab driver, raising concerns about his criminal history.
