
Police were called to Clapham High Street in south-west London just after 11am following reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a heavy goods vehicle. London Ambulance Service crews, including paramedics and an incident response officer, and London’s Air Ambulance attended the scene. A man in his 70s was assessed and treated, but he was pronounced dead at 11:36am despite emergency efforts. Clapham High Street remains closed, and at least five bus routes have been diverted. Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance. A man in his 70s was assessed and treated at the scene by paramedics.
