It is believed the teenagerswas approached by two young men on a moped, just before 2pm on Saturday, when he was walking in the area of Duncan Edwards Close, Dudley, West Midlands Police said. The men attacked the boy before fleeing, leaving him with serious injuries to his chest and face, according to the force. He was taken to hospital, has undergone surgery and is in a serious but stable condition, police said on Sunday.

A fatal two vehicle crash occurred on the N15 at Birchhill on the main Ballybofey to Donegal Town road at around 2pm on Saturday, May 16. Two occupants in one vehicle, a man aged in his 20s and a man aged in his 30s, were pronounced deceased at the scene. Their remains have been removed to Letterkenny University Hospital where post-mortem examinations will take place in due course. The Coroner for Donegal has been notified.

Detective inspector Andy Griffin stated, 'I believe this woman's account of events, as well as the video she captured, will provide vital evidence.' He emphasized the urgency of speaking to her.

Ms Faulkner, who is in her 20s and from Limerick city remains in critical condition in hospital following the incident on the R494 road last Saturday.

He was a beloved son and a source of endless joy to his family. His sudden loss has left an unimaginable pain and emptiness in the hearts of those who loved him.

The crash, involving a pedestrian and a car, occurred in the Tubrid More area of Ardfert in north Kerry on Monday evening (March 2) at approximately 9:20 pm. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and said the driver of the vehicle had left the scene before the arrival of gardaí.

"Peckham Rye is a busy area - densely populated with residents, pedestrians, public transport users and drivers which means there is a potential for witnesses. "We would like to speak to anyone who was in the Peckham Rye area, particularly Rye Lane, on Saturday evening between 18:00hrs and 19:30hrs. We are currently piecing together exactly what has occurred on the corner of Oxford Street and Bonners Lane between, what is reported as, two men involved in a confrontation. CCTV in the area is currently being reviewed and officers are speaking to potential witnesses to assist with our investigation. We know a lot of people came to the aid of the victim before emergency services arrived and we want to thank them for their help.
