Revitalized in 2021, Oak Grove Park in Klaipėda, Lithuania, has emerged as a cherished community space within a modernist neighborhood. The park features two zones for active leisure, including sports facilities and playgrounds, alongside serene areas for relaxation by ponds and trees. Linked by a circular pathway for walking and cycling, the park symbolizes effective public space renewal that can rejuvenate deteriorating urban neighborhoods. The design process involved community engagement to ensure it met local needs, with support from EU funding. This project illustrates the significant role of public spaces in enhancing the quality of life for residents in densely populated areas.
